My design process allows me to create a floral backdrop to elevate your event and to anchor it, and your memories, to the time and the place.
The design process is a collaborative one, starting with a consultation to allow me to get a sense of you as a couple and your vision for the day. This is translated into the designs of the bouquets, buttonholes, table arrangements and larger installations, depending on the requirements of your event. Everything I design is bespoke and individual to you; just as no two flowers are identical, no two events are the same.
The Works is a complete styling and floristry design service for your wedding from Wildstems and The White Emporium.
We understand that planning your wedding in a way that is stylish and elegant but with a consideration of the environmental footprint can be challenging.
At the same time, we have both been involved in too many weddings where the stylist and florist have been kept ‘separate’, often not aware of each other’s role until the day of the wedding. We think this is a missed opportunity to allow your creatives to collaborate for a more cohesive and elevated event.
The Works brings Gemma’s eye and extensive experience for event styling together with Cissy’s unique and untamed florals to create the most remarkable weddings and events that work in rhythm with the seasons.
